All students should be finished writing their poems today. If they did not finish them, there were to be taken home to be completed.

Today was the last day for students to complete their poems. We will be editing and typing our final drafts for poetry books in the next few classes.

We are working on our Rememberance Day Visuals.

Students are working on a unit about Rememberance Day.  They are creating a visual around the topic.

All essays on Thanksgiving should be completed in final copy and placed in folder.  The final copy should be stapled on top of the rough draft and the graphic organizer.  WE are returning to our poetry unit.

Today we worked on our essays about being "Thankful." We will be returning to our poetry unit shortly.

Students are working on their poetry unit.  They have all agreed to publishing some of their poems, by placing them outside in the corridor! 

We are working on a creative section.  Students who have missed any of the last few classes need to get this material and complete.

All students should have the first section of grammar handed in to me, at this point, for grading.  We have moved on to creative writing.  Grammar will still be interspersed throughout the term.

We are working on a creative writing unit now.  There is no homework assigned but some students have material that needs to be finished up from the grammar unit.

Students who were absent need to get the worksheets on grammar completed and handed in.  We are now mixing grammar and creative writing together. 

We continued with grammar today, and finished up by returning to our verbs, nouns, and made-up word activity.

We are working on an introductory section that deals with grammar.  Most work will have to be completed in class and will only go home to be completed.
